想問下你係留喺gold coast最耐時候係咪?
咁gold coast好住嘛?容易搵工嘛?
我原定第一站去melbourne,不過其實我都幾鍾意gold coast...

yes I hv stayed in GC for abt 6 monthes. Its a fantastic place to stay (esp. if you are a surfer) as GC has a very beautiful long coastal line. And the weather is nice too)
Its pretty hard to get a job (mostly the waitressing and housekeeping) in GC as there as too many oversea students there and most of the companies/ restaurant prefer hiring those students (as they can work in long term) and the salary is lower than that of west coast.
Knw nth abt working in Melb so cant help you.
Try to do some research before you decided where to go (eg easier to get a job during peak season (travelling) but hard to find accomodation respectively)
