I was there three weeks ago for 2 weeks alone. No problem at all. Perfectly safe (in terms of people, well, for male travellers at least) the possible dangers are really from the traffic, like:

getting killed when trying to cross the road to the Egyptian musuem
getting killed in a car crash becoz the seat belt is broken or non-existent.

Really the most scary part is at the mercy of the drivers. So I advise you to skip cars/buses as much as possible during the travel.

Flying is quite cheap and saves you a lot of time too..

As for communications, it can be a problem but as long as it is not something of emergency, you should eventually get what you want after a few tries.

In Egypt there is a lot to see, do and experience. The activities are not limited to just seeing pyramids or old temples. The experince can be highly diversified from camping at the desert to climbing the mountains or scuba diving under the red sea. FRom taking a hot air balloon to sailing the felucca to riding the camel. From taking a sweaty non air-conditioned bus journey to indulging yourself in a luxurious cruise along the nile, from seeing the pharaonic to Greek/Roman to Coptic to Islamic and Modern Egyptian history... from haggling with the touristy egyptians to really mix with the locals..........there are plenty to see and do there. I highly recommended it!

1.請問你o地有冇參加Aswan to Luxor by convoy, 聽聞呢個trip會順遊Esna, Edfu and Kom Ombo, 知唔知情況啊!

2.唔好意思, 重有個題想問一問, 請問你o地在旅館參加trip(eg. Abu Simble, 2day1night's felucca )有冇bill給你, 還是他們會自動來接你呢?

I did see the pic at B&W Desert.... Where is the toilet in Desert ?  I know that we cn't take any shower but it is naturally need after whole night......

I think it is very difficult to find a spot to go to toilet during the day, as there are really not many places to hide
